SNAG is a recommendation engine. We find products from third-party retailers and rank them. You buy from those retailers, not from us. We don't ship, refund, or guarantee anything — that's all on the retailer. Don't abuse the service, and we'll keep it running for you. Cancel any time.

What SNAG is

SNAG is an AI shopping agent for UK users. You type what you want; SNAG returns three ranked products from third-party UK retailers. It's a recommendation engine — the service we provide is the recommendation, not the sale.

What SNAG isn't

Crucially, SNAG is not a merchant

We don't sell, ship, store, refund, or guarantee any product. When you tap "Buy direct →", you're entering into a transaction directly with the retailer, under their terms.

To be specific:

Your account

You need to be 16 or older to use SNAG. For age-restricted products (alcohol, vapes, knives, CBD) you need to be 18+ and verified via Yoti or Onfido.

You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Use a real email address you can access — many features (magic links, password reset) depend on it. If you lose access to your email and your password, we may not be able to recover your account.

One person, one account. Multiple accounts from the same person to game the share-to-earn system or get extra free snags is grounds for closure.

Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. If you cancel mid-month, your tier stays active until the end of the current billing period — you don't lose access immediately.

Fair use

"Unlimited" on Pro means generous, not infinite. We allow up to 1,000 snags per rolling 24 hours. If you hit that, SNAG will show a "server is experiencing high load" message and ask you to try again later.

This cap exists to stop automated abuse, not to inconvenience real users. A human shopper genuinely doing 1,000 searches in a day is statistically unheard of — if you somehow do this, get in touch and we'll work it out.

We also reserve the right to throttle or block obvious bot traffic, scraping attempts, or anything that looks like an attempt to overload the service.

Buying things via SNAG

When you click "Buy direct →" on a SNAG result, you're sent to the retailer's website. From that point on, your relationship is with the retailer, not with SNAG.

That means:

SNAG tries hard to only surface products from reputable UK retailers, but we can't guarantee every product on every retailer is perfect. We're a recommendation engine, not a quality inspector.

None of the above limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law. If you're in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you protections that override anything in these terms.

Closing your account

You can close your account any time from account settings. Your data is deleted within 30 days (with the exceptions noted in the privacy policy — payment records and the like).

We can close your account if you breach these terms — for example, abuse, fraud, or repeated attempts to break the system. We'll usually give you a warning first, unless the breach is serious.

If you've paid for a subscription and we close your account for breach, you don't get a refund. If you close it yourself, the remainder of your billing period is still available, but it doesn't carry forward as credit.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be emailed to you with at least 14 days' notice. Continuing to use SNAG after the notice period means you accept the new terms. If you don't accept them, close your account before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If there's a dispute, it'll be resolved in the English courts — though we'll always try to sort things out via email first.
